Disc golf gator 3 star

The product itself is what is expected and works phenomenally IF you have an adequate attachment to hook to the gator.

The purchase only comes with a gator attachment and no pole or extension attachment so you'll have to go find a paint or broom handle screw in attachment for the gator

Excellent product pole idea included

Had this for 2 years now and saved enough money in lost discs to fill my bag three times over. When I bought it it came with the tent poles. To put it mildly, the tent poles were hot garbage. I bought a telescopic golf ball retriever from Walmart. I then found a shop/push broom pole that had the same threading as the disc gator. Removed the ball golf piece and attached just the threaded piece of the broom to the retriever with some 2 part epoxy. A few hours later after the epoxy set I had a telescopic pole like the kwik-stik but with a disc gator attachment.

Ideas on a pole?

I've had one of these grips for around a year but since it doesn't come with a pole, I haven't used it.
My dad had one with a pole (when you could buy them together), but we haven't been able to find one since.

Does anyone have advice on what to use? (even if we have to make something)
I would really rather not carry around a 5ft paint roller pole just to use this.

Looking forward to your ideas.
Thank you!

Used it to grab a disc in some deep brush.
Did not hurt the disc and I didn’t have to get scratched up either.
